Who is responsible

MeineWelt AG, Bahnhofstrasse 21, 6340 Baar, Switzerland, info@meinewelt.tv, is responsible for processing personal data on this website. We process data in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where they apply, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. Legal bases under the GDPR: steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement and the performance of agreements with approved persons (Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f)). We are established in Switzerland only; our processing of data of persons in the EU/EEA and the UK is occasional and limited, so we have not designated a representative under Art. 27 GDPR or UK GDPR.

No tracking

This website does not use analytics or tracking tools, and it does not load content from third parties such as external fonts, maps or videos. The public pages set no cookies. The access-controlled presentation sets one strictly necessary session cookie after sign-in; it holds no tracking data and expires after at most twelve hours.

Access-controlled presentation

Access to the private presentation is granted individually. For approved persons we store the email address, name, organisation, a salted hash of the chosen password, the access period and the time of the last sign-in. For security we also log sign-in attempts and page views of the private presentation with IP address, time and browser type; these logs are kept for twelve months. Access can be withdrawn at any time.

Hosting and data transfers

The website, the access-controlled presentation and its sign-in data are hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA, which acts as our processor under a data processing agreement. Data is therefore processed in the United States. Netlify is certified under the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, and the agreement additionally incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Email to and from info@meinewelt.tv is handled by our mail provider one.com (Denmark, EU).

Server log files

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referring page and browser type. This data is used only to deliver the website and keep it secure. It is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period.

Contact by email

If you write to us, we use your details and message only to handle your enquiry. We do not pass them on to third parties unless this is needed to answer you or required by law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and object to its processing. Please write to info@meinewelt.tv. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or with the authority of your place of residence.
